FAQs

Do you swab for any of your tests?

None of our tests require a painful swab. We use tests that require only a blood or urine sample so that your testing experience is as pain free as possible.

Is there more than one type of sexual intercourse?

The three most common types of sexual intercourse are oral, vaginal, and anal. It is always important to take precaution when having sexual intercourse of any type, as STDs can be spread by one or all forms of intercourse, and even through skin-to-skin contact. Condoms are not always 100% effective, but they do greatly reduce the risk of infection.

Should everyone be tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should be tested. If you have engaged in any unsafe sexual practices, it is important to be tested as soon as possible. Early detection will help you get the treatment you need as soon as possible in the event of a positive result. You should also be tested as soon as possible if you are pregnant and may be infected, as treatment can help decrease the chances of spreading the infection to your baby. It is also important to note that anyone who shares needles should be tested. Whether you are showing symptoms or not, call us today to discuss your options with a care counselor.

How long do I have to wait for my results?

Once you have given your blood or urine sample, you can call to check your results as soon as 24-72 hours after. Stress Free STD Testing offers a free consultation with your results.

Do the tests diagnose specific STDs?

We offer both comprehensive and individual tests depending on what you situation requires. There are nine different tests to choose from, or you can take them all with the comprehensive option. The tests include trichomoniasis, HIV, chlamydia, herpes HSV-1, herpes HSV-2, syphilis, gonorrhea, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C.
